Caroline Dewison

I have been making ceramic beads for just over 5 years and I still love the thrill of creating with mud. From taking a lump from the bag, to opening the kiln on a glaze firing, I can't get enough. I love all styles of working, all types of clay, and am fascinated by surface finishes. I don't think I will ever get bored.

My main inspiration is the natural world, and I am currently exploring china painting along with porcelain sculpture to create realistic beads and cabochons.
