I have been "Slingin Mud" since I was a child when my parents would bring home broken pieces from their ceramic classes...and have loved it ever since. I adore the cool, clean, smooth texture of porcelain and ceramic clay as I work with it and create new imaginative tiny sculpture pendants and beads. When it is fired and the glaze colors come intensely alive after being flambeau'd in my kiln, I feel the excitement and joy of it all.
