Stamping Ceramic Beads

Start with freshly made bead on your pointed tool.  Hold stamp in your dominant hand.  (Stamp shown here was made from stoneware and fired in advance)photo

Center the stamp against the side of the bead and press gently to create an impression in the bead.  Turn the bead and repeat this process to end up with evenly spaced impressions around the bead, being careful not to grip the bead too tightly aphoto
